Most people don’t struggle with starting. They struggle with finishing. I did too. So I built something different. Instead of writing from scratch, I spoke a rough idea into my phone… It turned it into: • A structured book • Full chapters • An audiobook in my voice No blank page. No burnout. We’re not building another AI writer. We’re building a system that helps you actually finish. Early users are already completing projects they’ve abandoned for months. Mobile app is currently in testing. If you’ve ever started something you couldn’t finish, you’ll get this.

The foundation of Tapeengine is its ability to learn and replicate your unique writing style, rhythm, and tone, rather than overwriting it with generic AI text. Soo…let’s talk about the Problem ✍️

After 30 days of closed testing, Tape Engine has officially been granted Google Play Production Access. What started as an idea to help creators turn voice notes and raw ideas into publish-ready digital products is now heading to public release on Android. We fixed onboarding issues. Improved the AI book generation flow. Refined the UI/UX. Tested with real users. Rebuilt weak parts of the product. Now we’re preparing our first public production release. Tape Engine is becoming publishing infrastructure for the AI era. #buildinpublic #AI #Startup

Big milestone for Tape Engine 🚀 After exactly 1 month of closed testing, we’ve officially applied for Google Play production access. Over the past month we improved onboarding, fixed AI book generation bugs, refined the UI/UX, and worked closely with testers to improve the experience. Excited for what’s next.

This is one of the biggest reasons I’m obsessed with building Tape Engine. I’ve seen too many brilliant people sit on ideas for months because the process of turning thoughts into a finished product feels overwhelming. Meanwhile less talented people ship faster and win. I genuinely believe creators who learn how to turn ideas into intellectual property will dominate the next decade.
Most creators don’t fail because they lack ideas. They fail because turning raw ideas into something people can actually buy is painfully slow. A voice note becomes: → abandoned drafts → scattered Google docs → “I’ll finish it later” Meanwhile someone else ships. The creators winning in 2026 won’t just create content. They’ll turn every insight, experience, and voice note into assets that compound: books, audiobooks, guides, courses, IP. That’s why we built Tape Engine. An AI publishing infrastructure that turns messy ideas into market-ready digital products. Curious though: What’s one idea you’ve had for months but still haven’t shipped?

In the realm of impossibility, I contend only with possibilities.

The next generation of creators won’t type most of their books. They’ll: - speak ideas - refine with AI - generate structure instantly - publish everywhere automatically Publishing is becoming infrastructure.

Most people don’t actually want to “write a book.” They want: - authority - distribution - credibility - leverage - intellectual assets Writing is just the bottleneck. That bottleneck is disappearing fast.

Publishing is shifting from “writing documents” to building intellectual assets. Tape Engine is being built for that future.
this is what real leverage looks like for creators, turning raw thought into finished work without friction feels like publishing is finally getting rebuilt for speed and taste

We got approved to relaunch on Product Hunt. Then 2 days before our Play Store closed testing finished, one uninstall reset the entire 14-day requirement. Startup life is learning how to keep moving even when platforms slow you down. So we’re using these extra 2 weeks to make Tape Engine even better before relaunch.

Hello, May 🩵 This month is about a new way to work. Happy #workers Day to all the industrious individuals around the world. In the old world, today was about manual labor. In 2026, it’s about the “New Employee”, the creator who has stopped selling their time and started owning their assets.

This is the exact face you make when you realize you’ve been renting your career on social media platforms instead of owning it through Intellectual Property (IP). STAY WITH ME!! 🪡
