⚡️🇺🇦 Russian forces have begun retreating on two fronts at once. For the first time in a long while, Russian troops are reportedly pulling back in the Zaporizhzhia and Dnipropetrovsk directions. This was stated by Ivan Tymochko, head of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Reservists Council.

🚨 Early speculation suggests Brigadier General Ali Azmaei, the newly appointed commander of the IRGC Navy, may have been targeted and possibly eliminated during the Bandar Abbas strikes. Azmaei is a senior IRGC naval commander best known for leading the IRGC’s 5th Naval Region, a strategically critical force tied to operations in the Persian Gulf and Strait of Hormuz. If confirmed, the reported targeting of such a senior IRGC naval figure would mark a major escalation and another significant blow to the Islamic Republic’s military leadership structure. Ukrainian mid-range drones are turning the Donetsk, Mariupol, Melitopol and Dzhankoy highway network into a serious problem for Moscow. The offensive reportedly involves a huge amount of gear and troops: the 7th Air Assault Division, 104th Division, Airborne Task Force elements, the 49th and 11th, the 4th base, and the 19th MRD. That is a lot of force to throw into the fight just to start bleeding ground.
