Jeremy Koenig had the tenacity to sit through some of my meanderings and even came up with some positive framings of my sometimes cynical positions. I am bullish on immortality and longevity.. just perhaps not for anyone alive today, so let's get busy! podcasts.apple.com/us/podcas…

Health is balance. When our biological systems can no longer maintain that balance is when we see disease. Resilience is the ability to spring back after a challenge to that balance. OpenCures is all about the restoration that PROSPR promises. arpa-h.gov/news-and-events/a…

It doesn't necessarily need expensive, overhyped and criticized biological age tests to get the current status of your longevity. Good old VO2 max is actually a pretty good start. Nice article with simple explanation: nationalgeographic.com/scien…

The OpenCures Platform provides free access to our API for those who don't want to reinvent the wheel when handling health data. Our community needs a common platform to run experiments on ourselves and use that data to help ourselves. Help us build it. There is no Cavalry.
Most biohacking/longevity practices are based on anecdotes or studies of questionable relevance (animals) or quality. As a community it would be great to have a platform to run trials - I hope this turns into that! Will be watching. Also following @OpenCuresOrg

🚨 A hospital CEO openly admitted they don't want healthier people because it means fewer customers. This stark truth highlights a critical issue: corporations don't always prioritize our well-being. Let's empower ourselves to prioritize health over profits!

💯 Innovation happens at the seams of disciplines, but doesn’t just happen when expert on X and expert on Y work together. It needs expert on X to learn about Y and viceversa. It needs curiosity to reach out across disciplines, and it’s stifled by “staying in your lane”
To all budding compbio & ML folks interested in bio: Don't just only run behind the latest ML model hype train. The greatest long run impact will come by really assimilating prior bio/compbio literature with the goal of really understanding strategies for how to model biology. 1/
