We are excited to announce a new OPA project - Java OPA SDK!
This is a Java package for natively evaluating OPA IR Plans compiled from Rego policies without the need to call OPA over the network. This is similar to how the Swift OPA project works.

Regal v0.40.0 is out, and just in time to celebrate 1 million downloads! This release brings two new linter rules, improved evaluate and debug actions in the language server, and many other improvements. The vscode-opa extension has also been updated.

Regal v0.36 is out! This is the first Regal release as an official OPA project. v0.36 brings a number of new features to Regal's language server, further improving the policy authoring experience.

Today we are announcing OPA Control Plane (OCP) as a new OPA subproject. OCP simplifies policy management by providing a centralized management system to control how OPAs receive the policies and data they need to make decisions.

OPA v0.70.0 is out!
This release brings a new, optimized read mode for OPA's in-memory store. This can be a big win for latency sensitive use cases.
