It's been over five years since we we announced Cwtch & the first alpha prototypes. We have spent the last two years publishing beta releases. We are now ready to begin the next phase.

With a shrinking budget, and the current economic situation I spent a lot of time last month thinking about the future, principles, and how to do sustainable work going forward.
On unavoidable truth: Building privacy preserving systems as a non-profit is becoming unsustainable.

I started donating to @OpenPriv a few months ago, because if I, an individual who care a lot about privacy, can't be bothered to contribute my time, or money to projects like this, who will? It is a lot like not voting, and then complaining about the results. Vote! Donate!
