Great post today from @MI211: openreferral.org/michigan-21…
They've used Open Referral's data standards to build new resource directory information infrastructure, providing directory-data-as-a-service to partners across Michigan.
One strand of this work focuses on data for wellbeing, community and health.
For example, we work with @Open_Referral to help people access information on health, human, and social services – for example, food banks (pantries in the US), legal aid and addiction services.
We’re looking for someone to join our growing team supporting clients and partners working with Open Referral and Open Active, and exploring opportunities for this data to be put to use supporting social prescribing.
Now under way: upgrade cycle for our Human Service Data Specifications! Read here about why/where/what/who here: openreferral.org/upgrading-t…
This Fri 11a-1p ET, our workgroup will conduct a line-by-line review of proposed changes. Meeting is open, reply if you'd like to sit in :)
