I do think that great design & engineering of products are critical, but manufacturing & supply chain require orders of magnitude more work

What factors legitimately deserve credit for driving coal generating unit retirements? That is the question @york_jeffrey and I examine in our forthcoming article (onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/…), covered here in The Conversation. #climatechange #energypolicy theconversation.com/whats-re…

Powerful image of Officer Eugene Goodman displaying tremendous courage as, quite literally it seems, the only person standing between a riotous mob and the center of our democracy. #HERO #CapitolRiot

If you need a good laugh, take a look at former astronaut and current AZ senator Mark Kelly's humor on full display. I nearly cried I laughed so hard! @CaptMarkKelly, can this be true?! #WhoNeedsALaugh

Many great ideas have never seen the light of day due to perfectionism. You don't have to fix every flaw before seeking feedback. You just need to be proud of your progress. Don't wait to share a project until it's done. Share it when what's done so far reflects your potential.

Great map of 2020 election showing political diversity w/i states. x.com/xkcd/status/1339341149… "More Trump voters in CA than TX, more Biden voters in TX than NY, more Trump voters in NY than OH, more Biden voters in OH than MA, more Trump voters in MA than MS," etc. #2020Election

This is fun. A pinhole camera left forgotten in an observatory in Hartfordshire England, captures 2,953 days of the sun arcing through the sky. #OldSchool cnn.com/style/article/can-ei…

Insights on psychological safety in the workplace (needed more than ever in these times!). Excellent summary of ideas from @AmyCEdmondson, one of the most intelligent and inclusive individuals that I have ever had the joy of working with. mckinsey.com/featured-insigh…

Trump's legal team based overvoting claims in Michigan on data from red precincts in Minnesota. Apparently they got the coding for the two states wrong when they searched the data. #BadAnalytics #Election2020 #MichiganElection powerlineblog.com/archives/2…

I was out for a run, taking it super easy, just trying to clear my head. Wife called, reminded me we had an important call in 15 minutes, and I was ... not close to home. Rest of the run was not so easy. :) #Whoops

I love this! @DollyParton's donation helped fund the Moderna vaccine (w/ @VanderbiltU; shoutout to the alma mater!). Thank you! And thank you to all the many other gracious donors and researchers who have put money and/or mind into this! #COVID19 cnn.com/2020/11/17/entertain…

This. I am at a loss as to how we allowed covid response to become so politicized. My perception of our identity as a nation was that, when we face a daunting enemy, we come together. But too many of us have been led to believe that it is our right not to care. #Care #WearAMask
This is the text I just received after asking my best friend ( pulmonary and critical care doctor) how she was doing. #WearAMask #SocialDistance
I agree. Recounts and legal process should go on. The OTHER vital question: why did POTUS claim the election was stolen, and only AFTER begin to look for substantiating evidence? @tedcruz: Remember when he accused you of fraud and stealing Iowa primary? nbcnews.com/politics/2016-el…

The fundamental question is: are we going to follow the law? We need to let the process play out to ensure every legal vote that was cast is counted and every vote that was illegally cast is not.

This is dangerous and false. Some among the GOP have supported baseless claims of fraud, true, but the party as a whole has not. Many on both sides of the aisle are there b/c they love this country. They'll be there if/when they need to be. tl;dr: build bridges, don't burn them.

Republicans will fail in their coup. Remember this when we go back to "both sides" framing in 2 months. This is a party that attacked democracy for Trump. They are extremists & have lost all credibility to ever accuse anyone of being "radical." Dems take note & grow spines.
GOP going to the courts is not evidence of a failed democracy. It is evidence that our democracy works. If they believe there are irregularities, they should challenge them. The risk lays with the toxic rhetoric with which that challenge is being conducted. #Election2020results
The General Services Administration oversees disbursement of funds to build the #BidenHarris2020 transition team. Trump appointee running GSA is withholding those funds. Wouldn't it be prudent to disburse those funds, even if framed as a contingency? cnn.com/2020/11/09/politics/…
