It was a privilege to spend time in Memphis with our incredible volunteer pilots and long-standing partners at @FedEx . From time in the simulator to one-on-one conversations, I was inspired by the depth of experience, commitment, and care this group brings—many with decades of service to @OrbisIntl Their dedication to excellence and safety is what keeps the Flying Eye Hospital in the air and our mission reaching patients around the world. Thank you to every pilot, volunteer, and partner who makes this work possible—we’re truly grateful to fly together. ✈️

Congratulations to the @Orbis India team for delivering such a thoughtful and energizing convening, and to all 47 partner institutions for the open dialogue and shared commitment to a greener, more resilient future for eye care. Partnership truly is how we move from individual efforts to lasting system change.

📣On #InternationalWomensDay I’m proud to co-author an op-ed with the International Agency for the Prevention of Blindness on a simple truth: there can be no gender justice without access to eye health. Women & girls make up 55% of those living with vision loss globally, even though most cases are preventable or treatable. It’s not a failure of medicine it’s a failure of access and equity. When women and girls can see, they can learn, earn, and lead. Op-Ed: iapb.org/news/rights-justice… @OrbisIntl @Orbis_Zambia @OrbisCA @ORBISIreland @ORBISHongKong #IWD #GenderEquity #EyeHealth
