Canterbury Designate Sarah took time to mourn with us when Dave died. She is not perfect, but who is? She has taken on a mammoth challenge knowing the personal cost. Knowing some of the concerns of survivors, I cautiously welcome this appointment, looking forward to what next.

At last July's York #generalsynod, Dave and Clive were promoting their new @Sheepfold_Dog project. Since then we have lost them both. I won't be watching Synod this time, but will be thinking of all involved.
