I think I figured out why imus domi reversi did not work on luffy and loki chapters ago and likely will never work.

This is because they do not desire power or shortcuts to strength luffy especially has shown this and since we know that zoan fruits have a will of their own it’s likely the previous nika and nidhoggr users were similar in this regard hence why imu was not surprised.

Tldr the key to counter domi reversi is purity in the same way boa Hancock can’t turn luffy into stone because he lacks impure thoughts imu cannot corrupt the omen inside luffy and Loki. To characters like luffy and loki the means matter more than the end results.
