We got a new angel today. Stephen Sondheim, composer of some of the most beautiful songs in history including one of Frank's favorites, "Send In The Clowns", died today at age 91. Not A Day Goes By that we won't miss you, pally!

On this date in 1996, they closed our home. After 44 years, The Sands Hotel would close forever. I can still hear the clink of the glasses and silverware in the Copa Room and smell the smoke from the casino floor. Salut, baby. We miss ya!
