Robert Redford's passing (Gene Hackman's too) braces us for the end of a great era. Consider: Clint Eastwood is 95 Robert Duvall is 94 Jack Nicholson is 88 Warren Beatty is 88 Dustin Hoffman is 88 Jane Fonda is 87 Al Pacino is 85 Faye Dunaway is 84 Robert DeNiro is 82 *Sigh*

Hold your heads up, @USC_Baseball. You were magnificent and gave it all you had. We’re all very proud of you. The program will build off of this. Great days are ahead. Fight On.

Favorite thing about this is that the robot was on his toes and ready to go if the kid had anything to say about it.
A Chinese robot wearing a clown wig kicked a child in the stomach.

So epic that they got the 4 of them together and did that on the spot. What a thrill for those boys, not to mention the bond it builds between them.

You wanna talk about the concept of “Fight On”?? As a USC guy and a Giants guy, Isabella’s story fires me up!
At 21, Isabella Strahan, Michael Strahan’s daughter is nearly two years cancer-free after battling brain cancer and is back thriving at USC. This is a powerful comeback story of strength and resilience. 👏🏾❤️

These two seem to be having fun. Maybe they’re feeling good about this ‘26 USC team. Football season can’t get here soon enough…
School may be out for the Spring but we are still up grinding!

We lost a great one 9 years ago today. Visited him last year… modest grave, gigantic talent. RIP #ChrisCornell

With the commitment today of 4-star safety Gavin Williams, USC has locked up an elite secondary as part of its ‘27 class. Williams is the perfect finishing piece to a quartet that includes 5-star safety Honor Fa’alave-Johnson and bookend CB’s Aaryn Washington and Danny Lang. ✌️

As proud as we all are of our players’ accomplishments on the field, never forget what an amazing thing it is for student-athletes to GRADUATE and wear those beautiful colors on behalf of the best university there is! Congrats to all!

Makai Lemon, unflappable on the football field, very emotional after being drafted by the Eagles (who traded up to get him at #20). Woe are the teams that passed on this young man. He is a stone cold killer and he is joining a very good team. Scary.

This is how Lakers fans feel when we have the NBA package but every game is blacked out because we don’t have Spectrum.
My dad is 75 and lives in Iowa. He got the MLB Extra Innings package to watch the Tigers again this year - something he plans his whole day around. Tonight, Detroit (664 miles from his house) hosted Milwaukee (360 miles from his house). Couldn't watch. Blacked out. (1/2)

This is so freaking sad. That young outfield was the core of that team and such a joy to watch. Thoughts are with his family. Far, far too young.

We are shocked and saddened by the passing of Garret Anderson, a 17-year MLB veteran and a standout member of the 2002 World Series champion Angels. A Los Angeles native, Anderson debuted with the Angels in 1994 and spent 15 of his 17 Major League seasons with the team. He finished his career with the Braves and Dodgers, amassing 2,529 hits and a .293 career batting average. Anderson was a 3-time All-Star. In 2003, Anderson won the Home Run Derby, and as the starting left fielder for the AL, he went 3-for-4 with a home run to capture game MVP honors. A member of the Angels Hall of Fame, he holds several franchise records including games played (2,013), hits (2,368), doubles (489), extra-base hits (796), RBI (1,292), and total bases (3,743). In Game 7 of the 2002 World Series, it was Anderson’s 3-run double that provided the winning margin in a 4-1 victory to clinch the first championship in Angels history. He was 53 years old.

Watched film of this young man the other day. He does NOT move like he’s 6’7”…he has the quickness and short-area twitch of a 6’2, 200 linebacker. And what a motor! Has a chance to be truly special for the Trojans.
