I'm excited to speak at the Carolina Code Conference! Single-track, polyglot conferences are great places to learn. Plus, I've never been to Greenville, SC.
Great talk. I don’t write as much Java code as I used to, so even less JUnit code. But last time I had a chance to do some unit tests, I couldn’t figure out where stefanbirkner.github.io/syst… went in JUnit 5. Sounds like junit-pioneer.org is the modern version.

Getting ready to go on @kc_dc with Castle Defense 101 (aka Threat Modeling). I know it’s Friday afternoon, but I’m still hoping for some good audience participation.

Actual lessons learned 2:
- ops isn’t part time
- use prebuilt tools where possible
- you might need custom tools
- GitOps doesn’t replace CD, even if you completely misunderstand what GitOps and CD are
