Several road closures and traffic disruptions in downtown Ottawa area due to Canada Day festivities. Police are directing traffic. From 6am Friday, July 1 to 2am Saturday, July 2.
A serious motor vehicle collision occurred this morning on the Airport Parkway at Walkley Road.
The @OttFire Services was called as one person was trapped & required extrication.
The Airport Parkway was closed in both directions.
I have not received notification on its reopening
Reminder: The Highway 417 eastbound exit ramp at Bronson Avenue and the westbound access ramp at Lyon Street will be closed as of today, August 23, at 10 pm.

@OttFire is on location for a fire in an abandoned structure on Riverside Dr. near Hog’s Back. Firefighters have searched the home to confirm there were no occupants and extinguished the main body of the fire. Crews are working to remove the smoke and extinguish remaining fire.
