It's a good time to restate: Trump CANNOT and DOES NOT see beyond himself. He is NOT strategic - he is transactional. He is a walking talking "id." He only pivots from self-interest, and cannot shut up or stop, even when it serves his interest. He is a dangerous malignant narcissist, who is returning to power during cognitive decline, OWNED by disorders.

Officials at the once again prestigious Kennedy Center have confirmed that they HAVE made the much wanted and legally required changes to the building that had been parasitically eating away at its prestige.

When you look at the fixation of so many over the letters of Trump's name coming off a building, you realize that if Ivanka, Don Jr, and Eric aggressively market a concession which allows people to pay for the right to pee on his grave, they will be the next trillionaires.

My dog Copper doesn't speak in English often - only when he has something important to say. Today, I got home from the market, he was waiting for me, with a stern look, and said: "The TV just said you have the world's first human trillionaire, and people are cheering it. And it also said that this new trillionaire eliminated humanitarian aid that will cause the needless death of the world's poorest children. Children! Death! Cheering! I do love you, daddy, and you're a good man. But your species sucks and should not be in charge of things."

The reason Trump is losing his shit, is because all malignant narcissists use bluster and bravado to cover their deep-seated fears and insecurities and when that stops working, they're exposed and they panic. Fear is always the defining emotion of a malignant narcissist in decline- that's what the malice stems from.

Watching people cheer for Elon Musk becoming the world's first trillionaire is like watching passengers on the Titanic cheer for the iceberg.

Trump's approval rating continues to tank. He's been described as being furious - but come on now - he's always furious if he's awake. His net approval on inflation is a whopping 50 points, most in presidential history. He's also at 80% disapproval on gas prices. Wow.

The great Kareem Abdul-Jabbar (@kaj33) reflecting on the @nyknicks and, separately, @realDonaldTrump. A terrific piece of writing. "For a frozen moment, it looked like the game was over and the Spurs had won. Then Anunoby came flying through the lane, extended his right arm as high as it would go, and tipped the ball through the hoop. It was as beautiful an encapsulation of the majesty of sports as anything you’re ever likely to see. The seemingly impossible happened. We all got to witness it." *** "Pulling out of that [Meet the Press] interview [with Kristin Welker] was the only honest thing Donald Trump did all hour. Trump hates strong women, he hates proud people of color (Welker is African-American), and he hates anyone who has the temerity to stand up to him. Welker proved herself all three over the course of the interview, so it’s no surprise Trump put his tail between his legs and ran for the exit, trying to pass it off as an act of smug contempt rather than the cowardice it so clearly was. ... "A decade of Trump has gotten us so used to his bully-boy tactics that we no longer expect our leaders to be people we respect. As long as they hate the same people we do, they get our votes." open.substack.com/pub/kareem…

The only way to process all these reports of an Iran peace deal being done, or being near, or text being agreed upon, is: 1. Listen to what Trump says. 2. Remove the grandiosity and hyperbole. 3. Assume the opposite is true.

The media listens to what Trump says, and they react to it using normal benchmarks. But there's no normalcy here. They should know this by now. Trump is NOT speaking tactically. He is speaking pathologically.

Here's WHAT I KNOW: Malignant narcissism is an extreme pathology. They always go down, it's always damaging, and it's almost always messy. Here's WHAT I THINK: The United States is a source of great wealth and power, filled with far too many in key positions, who - because of their selfish lust for a bigger slice of that wealth and power, or their ideological zeal, or their cowardice, or a combination - are ok with a malignant narcissist running the asylum. Here's WHAT I SEE: This malignant narcissist is in decline, and at this stage of that decline, is motivated by two things above all. It's not money, peace, solutions, a greater good, or anyone's betterment. He is motivated by putting forth his own grandiosity, and avoiding humiliation. PERIOD. Watch him and listen to him, and every syllable, inflection, and deed is motivated by those two things and solely by those two things.

People can deny that there is conclusive evidence that Trump engaged in pedophilia alongside Epstein, and I would agree, but nobody can possibly deny that Trump behaves as if somewhere, there might be conclusive evidence that he engaged in pedophilia alongside Epstein.

All narcissists lack behavioral regulation. Malignant narcissists, like Trump, also lack any behavioral counterbalance. Because all positive emotion - love, joy, empathy - which offsets malignant behavior in normal people, is missing. They're a black hole, a void, pure "self."

Democrats need to start asking these nominees the following four questions: 1. Who won the 2000 presidential election? 2. Who won the 2004 presidential election? 3. Who won the 2016 presidential election? 4. Who won the 2024 presidential election?
BLUMENTHAL: Who won the 2020 election? JUDGE TRAYNOR: This issue has become a question of political controversy. Justice Jackson-- BLUMENTHAL: It's 'political controversy' only because the president refuses to accept the results. I'm asking you as a matter of fact. Who won? TRAYNOR: As Justice Jackson stated, it is not appropriate to engage in discussion regarding that BLUMENTHAL: So you're going to use the same script that other nominees have used before this panel to avoid the question? Nancy Mace lost big. She came in 5th. She keeps posting. Because she has a disorder, a need for constant attention. Everything is overdramatized, oftentimes seductively put forward. She has the most acute and obvious case of this I've ever seen for a person in public life. Time to stop, Nancy. Let it go. Leave us be.
