Ghana's Supreme Court has upheld the path for one of the world's most extreme anti-LGBTQ laws, clearing the way for the "Human Sexual Rights and Family Values Act, 2024." This law threatens up to 3 years in prison simply for identifying as LGBTQ or being an ally. It also mandates the reporting of LGBTQ identities, forcing medical professionals, development and humanitarian organizations, and corporations to violate ethical standards.
