Sourav Ganguly said, “I abused Sehwag in Hindi”... during the lunch break of the Natwest trophy final. “I was very upset that we let England score 320 , and he was whistling behind me”. I told him, “We let them score 320 , is this a joke to you??” Sehwag replied, “We are going to win this, skipper.” Dada was stunned. Fast forward…during the chase, Ronnie Irani came on to bowl. Dada told him: “We’ve survived the main bowlers. Just rotate strike off this part-time bowler. 6–7 runs an over…and that’s enough.” Sehwag nodded. Next ball… FOUR. Dada: “Stop!” Next ball… FOUR again. Dada: “We’ve got 8 off the over. Now SINGLES.” Sehwag: “Yes, yes… singles.” Next ball… sweeps a medium pacer from middle stump for FOUR. Next ball… SIX over covers. 5 balls. All boundaries. Last ball… he taps it for a single. While crossing Dada, he whispers: “I’ve taken the single.”

This one is for the real cricket historians👀🏏 Can you identify these 3 cricketers? 👇 Hints: 🔹 One made his Test debut at 32, yet still raced past 100 Test wickets 🔹 Picked as a last-minute injury replacement, one produced a historic 5/48 at the MCG 🔹 One produced a legendary spell of 8/43 in the 1981 Headingley Test Difficulty: Hard 🔥 Bonus points if you name them left to right.

Shivnarine Chanderpaul 🏏 🇼🇮 “He was a very good player. When I stood at the top of my mark… he’d still be standing there with the bat on his shoulder.” 👀 “I used to think… is he even ready?” 😂 3. Saeed Anwar 🇵🇰 “Especially dangerous in his own conditions. He was a gun.” 2. Graham Thorpe 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 “Such an elegant player.”👌🏾 1. Brian Lara 🙇🏽‍♂️ 🇼🇮 “I’ll put him as the best I’ve bowled to… just ahead of Sachin.” “Absolute genius. With Lara… you never knew what was coming next. Mandakini’s iconic wet white saree sequence in Raj Kapoor’s Ram Teri Ganga Maili (1985) didn’t stay on screen the stills and promotional images quickly landed on magazine covers and front pages across India. The translucent saree under the waterfall (plus the breastfeeding scene) triggered nationwide outrage and fascination. Critics slammed it as vulgar and exploitative, others defended it as artistic expression of purity meeting raw sensuality. The Censor Board surprisingly cleared it with a ‘U’ certificate, the film became a massive blockbuster, and Mandakini turned into a household name overnight. Those magazine covers only poured more fuel on the debate pushing conversations about censorship, morality, the male gaze, and how far mainstream cinema could go in the 80s. One powerful visual. Endless controversy. A true classic case of a single image dividing the nation. 🎥
Alright Bollywood fans, let’s see who remembers the chaos. 🎬🧠 Quote/comment a controversy sparked by a Bollywood magazine cover that became the talk of the town. 🥶 Time to bring back the madness 💀

“Never knew that hitting sixes would become a disadvantage for me.” 😲 Sourav Ganguly started on a light note… then revealed why Dravid became India’s No. 3 in Tests, while he was moved down the order. It goes back to the 1996 South Africa tour. 🇿🇦 Both used to go for morning runs. Every single day… Dravid was ready first. He would call Dada and say: “I’m ready… waiting for you.” Meanwhile, dada was still inside his blanket. 👀 One day, Dada asked him: “You face the new ball every day against those fearsome South African pacers… don’t you ever feel you may not be up for it?” Dravid replied: “Yes Sourav, I do. I see it as an opportunity. Either I bat at No. 6 when the ball is old… Or bat at 3, score hundreds, and make a name for myself as one of the best against the new ball.” And that mindset is exactly what made Rahul Dravid immortal at No. 3. ♥️

Let’s talk about the infamous 2008 Cine Blitz cover that nearly broke the internet before the internet was even a thing. 🧵👇 It started when Aamir Khan wrote a blog post mentioning that a dog named 'Shahrukh' was living at his Panchgani home. Instead of letting it slide, Cine Blitz decided to feature Aamir on their cover next to a dog, with the headline: "Shahrukh is licking my feet..." 🥶 The cover sparked massive outrage, legal threats, and endless prime-time news debates. Aamir later clarified it belonged to the house caretakers and he meant no malice, but that cover remains the peak of unfiltered, petty Bollywood chaos. Live rent-free in my head! 💀🎬

When Rohit Sharma made a blunder at the toss… yet somehow saved himself like a pro 😭😂 It was 2013. Rohit was captaining Mumbai Indians. Before the toss, the plan was simple: **Field first.** 👀 Then Rohit walked out… forgot it, chose to bat instead. 🏏 Back in the dugout, Anil Kumble instantly asked: “Ye kya kiya Rohit??” Caught off guard, Rohit quickly made something up: “Anil bhai… mujhe laga pitch accha hai… toh maine batting le li.” 👀 The best part? Mumbai Indians still won the match. 😂

Shoaib Akhtar said: “I wish Sourav Ganguly was my captain.” ♥️ And the reason he gave was fascinating. He gave the example of MS Dhoni’s selection. Dhoni was performing well in domestic cricket… And even though captains weren’t selectors, Ganguly personally went all the way to Jamshedpur… just to watch him and make sure he got picked for India. Then Shoaib compared it with his own journey. “The wickets I should have taken for Pakistan… I had to take in domestic cricket.” 😔 “By the time I finally got into the Pakistan team… I was finished.” Sometimes talent isn’t enough. You also need someone powerful enough to believe in you. ♥️

You’ve watched cricket for years… but can you solve this? 👇 Three clues. Who is he? 🤔 🔹 Cricket isn’t his only talent, he has performed with a rock band 🔹 Played a key role in his team’s T20 World Cup triumph. 🔹 On the test debut against India, he announced himself by taking two wickets in his very first over.

Sometimes a movie scene leaves you thinking about life for days. This scene from Newton absolutely did that to me. ❤️ Sanjay Mishra asked Rajkummar Rao (Newton): “Do you know how Newton changed the world?” Newton confidently replied: “Through Gravity and Optics.” Sanjay smiled. “You forgot his greatest contribution.” Newton looked confused. “How?” Then came the line that hits differently. “Before Newton… people believed different laws governed different people.” The rich and the poor. Kings and commoners. Temples and churches. “As if the world itself treated people differently. But Newton erased that illusion in one stroke.” He proved that nature does not discriminate. Be it Ambani… or a man selling tea on the roadside… if both fall from the same height… they will hit the ground at the same speed. And suddenly, all man-made hierarchies feel meaningless. We spend our whole lives dividing ourselves. But nature gently reminds us of one truth: In the end… we were never that different from each other.
