Today (01/14/26), OXPD Commander Scott Aaron’s body will be escorted from the OC Coroner’s Office to the Conejo Mountain Funeral Home in the City of Camarillo. The procession is set to depart from Santa Ana at 11AM.

This Wednesday, December 17th at 4:00 P.M., Oxnard Police Department Chaplain Rabbi Dov Muchnik will be performing his annual menorah-lighting ceremony on the front lawn of the police station at 251 South "C" Street. This event is open to the public and all are invited to attend.
Today, December 2nd, marks the 32nd anniversary of the death of Detective James E. O’Brien. Jim was tragically shot and killed during a vehicle pursuit following a shooting rampage at the EDD office in Oxnard. Please take a moment out of your day to remember this hero.
