I was excited to attend a pre-bid at an engineer’s office for a project & left extra wiggle room in my schedule, got there a bit early sat in the conference room. When the time came & went, I sheepishly went back to ask if I had the right day. I did, but not the right time.

Remember, whatever is in the road/gutters, ends up in our storm system. That means if you sweep leaves into the gutter, they flow to the inlet. If this inlet clogs up with leaves, the water can’t get in and can flood the area. Be a good neighbor and keep stuff out of the gutters!

TNC has partnered with Knollwood Life Plan Community in Washington, DC to install stormwater-capturing green infrastructure that will prevent millions of gallons of runoff from flowing into Rock Creek, the Potomac River, and ultimately the Chesapeake Bay every year. How cool!
