Following the ethnic cleansing of 120,000 Christian Armenians from their ancestral homeland of Artsakh, these persecuted Christians have found refuge in the embrace of Armenia. Regrettably, amidst this humanitarian crisis, the United States has been seen supporting Azerbaijan, the orchestrator of this ethically troubling cleansing of Christians from the region. Recently, Congressman Brad Sherman has pressed Secretary of State Antony Blinken to provide aid to Artsakh refugees now living in Armenia. As Christians, we are called upon to extend our hands in mercy and succor to those who suffer. The United States, guided by principles of compassion and human rights, should extend its assistance to alleviate the suffering of these displaced Christians.๐๐ป
