Election night for the LA Mayors race was June 2
It is June 9 and we're still counting votes.
For reference, it takes actual countries less than 6 hours to count their votes the same day as the election.
But please tell me that we don't need election and voting reform.

California just did something incredibly stupid at the worst possible time.
By openly kneecapping Spencer Pratt in the primary, the state didnât just protect Karen Bass from a competitive November race. It handed the rest of the country fresh, undeniable proof that their election system is designed to prevent any real challenge from ever reaching the general election. And they did it right as the Supreme Court is preparing to rule on late-arriving mail-in ballots in Watson v. Republican National Committee.
That timing matters. This wasnât some quiet, behind-the-scenes adjustment. It was a very public execution of a candidate who was gaining traction with a modern campaign and a straightforward message. Everyone watching saw it happen in real time. The ballot drops, the sudden surge of a no-name candidate, the abrupt removal of the only outsider who was making noise ... it was all too obvious to ignore.
What California just proved is that their system cannot tolerate even the possibility of a close or uncomfortable race. Not because they fear losing power overnight, but because they fear voters seeing that the machine can be pressured at all. That revelation travels. It feeds directly into the growing national understanding that whatâs happening in places like Los Angeles isnât normal governance ... itâs managed decline protected by procedural games.
They showed their hand. And they did it at the exact moment the highest court in the country is about to decide how much longer these games are going to be allowed to continue.

I've learned from my own experience it is often best to just not comment on other things unless you absolutely can't stand down.
Even if you believe you're doing the right thing (a lot of times you are) it will be met with a lot of backlash from a side and just isn't worth the stress or harassment it can sometimes lead to.
Staying away from things is best for your own sanity and it's okay to be selfish sometimes. đŞ

Twitch will allow OF creators to parade around gimps while openly stating she doesn't care if minors see it but god forbid you have an autonomous arcade.
For the people that were actually following the channel and using this, I know itâs been down for a couple days. Twitch issued an indefinite suspension on the account for violating community guidelines (?). Trying to get it back again.

-Why is this allegation almost constantly coming out of ONLY the Smash scene
-If he was banned in 2024, why is it coming out in 2026
-Furthermore, was he investigated in 2024, and if so, what were the results of said investigation (1/?)

We don't have to like Trump to agree with what he's saying on this one. If its not on Fox or CBS on Sundays or ESPN for MNF, you legitimately do need to pay hundreds of dollars to watch your team play.

President Donald Trump was asked about the NFL moving games to paid streaming platforms and said he doesnât like it, via @FullMeasureNews:
âTheyâre making a lot of money. They could make a little bit less. ... You have people that live for Sunday⌠and then all of a sudden, theyâre gonna have to pay $1,000 a game. Itâs crazy. So, Iâm not happy about it.â
(Fans are not paying $1,000 a game, but the Department of Justice has opened an investigation regarding this topic).
