On international Migrants Day, 13 activists were arrested on the Benjamin Franklin bridge calling on @JoeBiden and @KamalaHarris to dismantle the deportation machine before Trump's inauguration. Banners were dropped from the bridge with specific actions the White House can take.

Whether we’re talking about 2024 or 1776, immigrants enrich our communities, start businesses, create jobs, and strengthen the social fabric of our city. Philadelphia is a sanctuary city, and I will do everything I can to make sure it says that way. We will not tolerate City resources being used to support harmful enforcement practices that make our city less safe. I am proud to represent a district that many diverse and thriving immigrants choose to call home – I will always stand up for them!
