Strength training is a superior training method for fat loss.
You must be in a caloric deficit to lose weight but your training methodology determines what type is weight you’ll lose ( just fat, or fat and muscle).
It is better longterm strategy to retain and grow as much lean muscle mass as possible in your weight-loss journey. Lean muscle mass will be very instrumental in keeping you from regaining all the fat you lost.
Why?
Well cause muscle is a calorie sucking machine~ meaning , muscles demand and use calories for survival and growth, so the more lean muscle you have on you, the more calories your body uses daily, leading to little to no extra calories stored as bodyfat ( if you’re in a calorie deficit).
