I went to journalism school, that’s the route I took to marketing, so when I heard credentials I thought more “how to hold a digitally savvy journalist’s limited attention span long enough for them to see us as a component to a story” #printchat
A4 I can't say that I ever thought I needed more education or credentials in that way. It's always good to ask the media what they consider to be credentials for an expert and aim your samples in that direction. #printchat

A3b. Even if your market is not local, having local media quote you can be very impressive. You can leverage that connection to one that fits a scale you need. You must help them first though! #printchat

A3b I can’t say we do here. We’re National so any local coverage we’d seek wouldn’t be advantageous. Put we do maintain relationship with many of the packaging, pharmaceutical, corrugated, seafood, and meat trade magazines! #printchat

When I worked for a local premium landscaping company this was the exact route I took and it resulted in over 800 new Instagram followers and 5 projects valued over $100,000 #printchat

Forget the media, they’ll come to you, but if you do it right these other businesses will be mentioning your name first to their customers. 💰
