Our monthly team building challenge asked students to collaborate within their teams to solve an arctic themed engineering challenge while managing a budget to purchase building materials from our “store”. What a fun Friday at PAGE!
Our 4th-grade PAGE students showcased their family tree projects in World Language class today using ASL! So proud of their dedication to learning and communicating in new ways.
PAGE students merged coding & creativity! Teams designed games in Scratch, then built custom Makey Makey controllers to play them. Watching these young innovators problem-solve together was incredible!
PAGE students tested their egg drop prototypes this morning during our Think Like a Scientist meeting led by our friends from CWRU. Almost all of our eggs made it! We have future engineers at hand!
PAGE students put on their scientist hats this morning, hypothesizing and experimenting as they built “lava lamps” to investigate density and molecular properties through our Think Like a Scientist program in collaboration with CWRU.
Students at PAGE and 3rd graders at Green Valley have been penpals all year. Today they met for the first time and made friendship pins, read together, played on the playground, and enjoyed donut holes. What a fun morning of friendship!
We had fun hiking while learning about weathering and erosion at the Ledges in CVNP today. PAGE students were impressed by the striking rock formations!
We harvested 7 lbs. of lettuce from our hydroponic garden at PAGE. Parma Park students are excited to enjoy fresh lettuce in their salads that they grew right in our cafeteria!
