Sad news to share. Kenzie has crossed the rainbow bridge today. She had an unknown tumor on her spleen rupture. She was 11yrs old. Not even 2 mo have passed since Daffy died. Rest in peace pup. You will be missed.😢

Vet said it was likely cancer and even if they removed the spleen, she likely would have only had another 3-6mo left and been in considerable pain. So giving her a painless way out seemed the best option and the vet agreed.

Hoomin made dried cantaloupe. And I like it!!!
Seriously though, if you have a stubborn bird that wont eat fresh veggies, try dehydrating them. They take on a texture of paper or cardboard that they can destroy and enjoy.
