DF01 is where capability and scale meet to deliver maximum impact for the warfighter. PDW was recently awarded a $15.2M @USArmy contract for C100 systems in support of the sUAS Product Office. This award builds on multiple contracts in recent years supporting the Army's Transformation Initiative and MRR program. Production for this critical contract, among others, is underway now at our Huntsville, Alabama factory. Read more at the link below.

The warfighter needs intelligence that moves as fast as the mission. Over the past few months, U.S. and Philippine forces have employed PDW's C100 during joint exercises to strengthen interoperability, improve situational awareness, and enhance operational readiness. These exercises underscore the growing demand for resilient compute, communications, and data infrastructure that can support UAS operations in contested and expeditionary environments. PDW continues to deliver rugged, mission-ready technology designed to help warfighters access and act on critical information wherever the mission takes them. Learn more at the link below.

Mission success demands systems that perform when the environment doesn't cooperate. Last week at the 2026 Tough Stump Technologies Rodeo in Montana's Ruby Valley, PDW demonstrated the C100 across a series of realistic, mission-driven scenarios spanning more than 550 square miles of rugged terrain. From BVLOS search-and-rescue operations and precision medical payload delivery to over-water deployment of life-saving equipment, the C100 proved its versatility, endurance, and stability in challenging conditions. Events like Tough Stump bring together the technologies and partners shaping the future of autonomous operations. We're proud to collaborate with innovators across the industry and continue delivering capabilities that work where they matter most: in the field.

Excited to mark PDW’s first acquisition. PDW's agreement to acquire Vanteon is more than an expansion of our communications expertise, it's an investment in the future of our sUAS portfolio. We’ve worked closely with Vanteon for years. They bring deep RF design and SDR expertise, a strong engineering team, and capabilities that directly support our mission and the systems we’re building today. Proud of the team that brought this together. I put my thoughts to paper on how communications are the next competitive advantage in the article below.

Connectivity is a critical capability, not a feature. PDW's agreement to acquire Vanteon strengthens our ability to design, develop, and deliver next-generation sUAS capabilities while expanding mission-critical connectivity at the tactical edge. We're excited to welcome the Vanteon team and build on a trusted partnership as we continue advancing the future of autonomous systems. Read more at the link below.

The C100 was built to operate where other systems fail. Designed for demanding operational environments, the C100 has proven performance across extreme weather, degraded infrastructure, contested terrain, and urban environments. From arctic landscapes to vast desert expanses, the C100 remains mission-ready when reliability matters most. Learn more at the link below.

Programs like FIRST Robotics play an important role in inspiring the next generation of engineers, innovators, and technology leaders. PDW's Chief Engineer in Huntsville, AL, Allen Bancroft, recently served as the Co-Judge Advisor for the 2026 FIRST Robotics World Championship in Houston, TX. A dedicated FIRST volunteer for the past 27 years, Allen helped lead the judging effort for more than 600 teams from around the world and supported the recognition of 112 student teams and achievements throughout this year's competition. We’re honored to have PDW team members who give back to the STEM community in such meaningful ways. Congratulations to the students, volunteers and FIRST Robotics on another incredible year of inspiring youth to pursue education and careers in STEM-related fields.

The tactical drone market is moving fast, but the real challenge is no longer just building a drone. It’s building systems that operators can effectively deploy, adapt, sustain, and scale in real-world conditions. PDW’s Chief Innovation Officer @rgury and Chief Technology Officer Dylan Hamm sat down with @InsideUnmanned to discuss the evolving Drone Dominance landscape, lessons learned from Gauntlet 1, and where the market is heading next. The conversation covers: • Operator workflows and reducing cognitive load • Scaling pilot training and operational readiness • Designing for contested EW environments • Modular systems and payload flexibility • Building domestic supply chains that can actually support mass production Success on the battlefield will require companies to combine superior performance, manufacturability, and operational utility, not just demos and prototypes. Three themes came through consistently in conversations with operators, customers, and partners at SOF Week 2026: 1. The conversation has shifted from drone features to integrated operational systems combining autonomy, connectivity, training, and rapid fielding. 2. GPS-denied and comms-contested operations are now the baseline, increasing demand for systems that reduce operator burden and remain reliable in degraded environments. 3. Scale and trusted domestic sourcing are becoming core operational requirements alongside capability itself. At our After-Hours Tech Demo with @FLYMOTIONmedia we demonstrated the C100 equipped with the @LeonardoDRSnews Stag 5 in the rain and wind, showcasing real-world operational relevance, portability, and reliability. We also kicked off the week at PDW’s Network with a Purpose event alongside the @rirvinefound. Thank you to Chef @RobertIrvine for supporting the SOF community. Appreciate the collaboration and partnership throughout the week from @SilvusTech, @doodlelabs, @OakGroveTech, and @BoozAllen for promoting PDW's capabilities, and everyone who spent time with the PDW team in Tampa.

Sensor to shooter organic fire support is critical for compressing decision timelines and enabling faster, more effective engagements. At the second annual UK @dstlmod 9 Mile event, PDW’s C100 executed six APKWS 70mm rocket engagements, demonstrating precision laser designation, multi-target capability, and effectiveness across both day and night operations. This effort reflects the strong relationship between PDW and @EDGARBROTHERS, working in close alignment to expand access to PDW capabilities across the UK.
