Our dream is that the leaders of our communities reflect the people who live there. Tonight, we hosted 200 company partners and rising leaders to announce that our Emerging Leaders and SINE initiatives are merging to create a big honkin scalable initiative we are calling The Script. We’re going to invest $1 million over the next year to take the world class internship program we’ve built and add Junior, Mid-level, and Senior-level job matching services for underrepresented students. I’ll post some news stories this week, but the real news is this: there is not a shortage of diverse talent in our community. We are writing a new story… …and what’s needed is a competitor to other job connecting services to guarantee that companies are interviewing diverse talent for jobs at $65,000 and above. We are going to compete like hell to force the issue. This next wave of investment from The Contingent is The Script. thescript.org
