Depression is,nt just sadness. It’s hating yourself. Having no motivation to do ANYTHING . Never being able to sleep. Struggling to get out of bed. Knowing you have stuff to do, But can’t do it. Ignoring hunger. Forgetting about self care. Depression isn’t always sadness.

Trauma doesn't make people stronger. It damages their nervous system. It hijacks their digestive track. It keeps the person in a constant loop of hypervigilance. To tell someone they are stronger because of trauma is to deny what it has cost them to survive.

Suicidal thoughts aren’t always I want to die. They’re also.. I feel trapped. I need a way out. I am a burden. What’s the point in life? I need to escape my thoughts. Nothing will ever get better. I see no future. I can’t bare this pain anymore. Am worthless. #SuicideAwareness

❌ We NEVER want to see a sign like this ever again. ❌ The next government has the power to make that happen. They can end the need for food banks.

Everyone knows Labour are going to win the election, but if you’re feeling like there’s no point in voting as the outcome is a foregone conclusion, I’d like to draw your attention to something really radical that is on offer tomorrow: 1/8

Left: Rishi Sunak, "I understand why you're frustrated with our party, with me, I get it.. Before you make that choice, think" Right: The Conservative Party HQ have changed the name of their Twitter account to 'Tax Check UK' which leads you to a website that presents incorrect and misleading information about Labour's tax plans So yes, think. Ask yourself if you can trust a party in government that needs to mislead and tell outright lies to win votes. Because if that's the standard you expect from a Prime Minister and a government, I feel sad for you

Jemma Forte, "Farage campaigned for Brexit, was the face of Brexit. Brexit has been a complete disaster. And now he's saying vote for me again. I don't get it" "Reform is a limited company.. 40,000 people paid Β£25 to join.. That's Β£1,000,000 going to his limited company"

So true. As a palliative care doctor I now find myself routinely having to have end-of-life conversations with elderly patients on trolleys in corridors. It’s unimaginably undignified & wrong, And it didn’t used to be like this. 14 years of Tory policies have savaged the NHS.

Dear Students. The Conservative Party have been attempting to suppress your ability to vote, mainly because they know most of you cannot stand them. Apathy is a big issue, please do something about it, register to vote, get your ID sorted, show the Tories how you feel. Ta 🩷
