LIMA: A new study from Peru reports dental fluorosis in 93.6% of children investigated, not from water but from toothpaste use/ingestion. It is not well known that the majority of fluoride intake in toddlers and young children in many parts of the world is from fluoride toothpaste, even in the US. So if we are concerned about young children swallowing a “neurotoxin,” why is there not a worldwide movement to ban fluoride toothpaste for children? pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/4225…

The water fluoride levels were low, 0.13 to 0.36 ppm. The factors associated with fluorosis were toothpaste factors: early brushing, use of adult toothpaste, excessive amounts of toothpaste, and repeated swallowing of dentifrice.

Here is the second article in our brief series on the pharmacological evidence documenting fluoride’s effects on thyroid hormone metabolism. Topic is the Reid Hunt reaction, also known as the acetonitrile test, one of the early functional assays used to assess thyroid activity. pfpc.substack.com/p/reid-hun…

When modern reviews claim that the thyroid evidence on fluoride is “very poor” or “insufficient,” the problem is not a lack of evidence. The problem is what the reviews have left out. pfpc.substack.com/p/of-frogs…

USA: "The grim reality is that 23-35 million pounds of pesticide ingredients used annually in the United States are PFAS. California has registered 53 PFAS pesticides. And about 2.5 million pounds of those poisons are applied annually to California cropland." INDIA: Odisha Village Cries for Water as Fluoride-Contaminated Water Flows A massive drinking water crisis has surfaced in Odisha’s Cuttack district. Villagers of Dhaulia village under Mahanga block are allegedly forced to consume iron and fluoride-contaminated water due to the lack of safe drinking water facilities. Despite the inauguration of a mega drinking water project, locals claim pipelines have still not reached the village. With extreme heatwave conditions worsening the situation, people are struggling for every drop of clean water. Villagers say they have no option but to use unsafe tube well water for survival. youtube.com/watch?v=vTDPN4LI…

"What has been rejected in Europe cannot simply be moved elsewhere and repackaged as progress." The Miteni plant in Trissino, Vicenza, produced fluorinated chemicals used in sectors such as agrochemicals, pharmaceuticals, textiles, firefighting foams, fluorinated waxes, and ski waxes. The company was found to have contaminated groundwater and drinking water across parts of Vicenza, Verona, and Padua. In June 2025, 11 of 15 former Miteni managers were convicted in the first instance for serious environmental offences, including intentional water poisoning and deliberate environmental disaster. Prison sentences reportedly ranged up to 17 years and 6 months. theguardian.com/environment/…

INDIA: Rajasthan facing deepening groundwater, fluoride crisis: 68 per cent of people in Nagaur showed signs of dental fluorosis and 24 per cent suffered from skeletal fluorosis. Prolonged consumption of fluoride-contaminated water could lead to irreversible skeletal damage, kidney ailments and cardiovascular stress. It also pointed to higher mortality indicators in fluoride-affected regions. Districts facing high fluoride contamination recorded infant mortality rates averaging 45.9 per 1,000 live births compared to 37.5 in relatively clean-water districts, the report said. Barmer recorded the state's highest infant mortality rate at 56 per 1,000 live births. More than 46 million people were estimated to be living in districts categorised as having ''high'' or ''extreme'' vulnerability. devdiscourse.com/article/hea…

The Childsmile scam uses supervised toothbrushing with 1,450 ppm fluoride toothpaste in a "spit-don't rinse" program. Yet, since the program began, not a single study has investigated these children’s health, let alone dental fluorosis incidence. poisonfluoride.com/phpBB3/vi…

9 out of 12 pesticide-related residues reported on Driscoll’s conventional strawberries were fluorinated compounds: Flonicamid, Fludioxonil, Flupyradifurone, Fluxapyroxad, Indoxacarb, Novaluron, Tetraconazole, TFNG, and Quinoxyfen. Several of these residues also exceeded limits set in other countries.
