Last week, Chief Schlegel met with Plantation High School's principal, staff, and security director as part of an ongoing stakeholder outreach effort. The meeting provided an opportunity for Chief Schlegel to introduce himself, discuss the strong partnership between the Police Department and the school, and reinforce our shared commitment to maintaining a safe and secure learning environment for students, faculty, and staff. The conversation also focused on safety planning, communication, and continued collaboration to ensure a successful 2026/2027 school year.
