This week we successfully implemented the electronic administration system used in PHU in simulation training! A lot of work from our Pharmacist System Manager, IT Team and the Digimeds Team in PHU to ensure we could offer realistic training to all staff πππ@PHUDIGITAL

We continued our week with 2 back to back sessions for the Cardiology Department Nurses. Assessment, escalation, team work and using the femostop! The participants were impressed with Vivienβs realism and @peterthesimtech moulage of an arterial femoral hematoma @RGonzalezPHU

Wednesday we supported our Paeds ED Team with an in situ simulation. They had to manage a major haemorrhage scenario on a 16 year old pregnant patient. Practicing emergencies with the real teams and learning with each other π @peterthesimtech @BSAtkinson @RGonzalezPHU

This morning in our in situ maternity theatres Simulation π€°starting with a simulated patient for assessment, emergency transfer to theatres and C-section using a manikin. Managing ruptured uterus and foetal distress. Several teams training together! @peterthesimtech
