🏭 Strengthening India’s Advanced Composites Manufacturing Ecosystem! ✨ Smt. Vrunda Manohar Desai, IRS, Textile Commissioner, Government of India, Mumbai, visited the manufacturing facility of 3B Advanced Composites Private Limited, Goa, on 13 June 2026. The company is undertaking capacity enhancement under the Production Linked Incentive (PLI) Scheme of the Ministry of Textiles. During the visit, the Textile Commissioner reviewed the company’s advanced manufacturing capabilities, innovation-driven initiatives, sustainability practices, and the development of high-performance reinforcement solutions serving critical sectors such as automotive, wind energy, construction, and advanced composites. She also interacted with the company’s management team to gain insights into the operational landscape, growth prospects, and challenges faced by the glass fibre and advanced composites industry. The Textile Commissioner took note of the concerns and suggestions raised by the industry and assured support in facilitating possible assistance and coordination with relevant stakeholders to promote sustainable growth, innovation, and global competitiveness of the sector.
