6/ Interestingly, CR and PT alone were not effective.
However, when paired with matching VR perspectives Palestinians' POV for PT, and a bystander POV for CR, we observed:

So proud of our new paper! We try to explain what hope is and how it could be measured. We offer a comprehensive overview of the Bidimensional Model of Hope, which describes hope in its most nucleus form and thus enables an understanding of hope in the broadest scope possible.

@ClancySabina is my academic sister and a close friend. We both had our challenging experiences of violent conflicts, and in many ways we share similar motivations, values and goals when we study them. Thatโs why itโs so great to publish that paper in @NatRevPsych on intergroup interventions together with Sabina. We have tried here to review this exciting new literature, but also to offer new model and roadmap for future work. Very proud of that work! @PICRLab

Super relevant and important paper on the role of emotion norms in conflict dynamics. It showed that emotional norms in one's political group are strongly related to policy support. A great reminder of the complex factors at play in conflict resolution. Highly recommended reading

When @sandra_penic , Noga @PICRLab and I started working on that project, we could not imagine how relevant it could be. Now, in times in which the clear norm is against intergroup empathy, and a strong social norm is in favor of intergroup hate, this paper becomes so important!
