PINGO’s Forum is a human rights and development network that seeks to advocate and support sustainable livelihoods of pastoralists and hunter-gatherers.
The High Court of Tanzania has issued a landmark ruling affirming the customary land rights of Indigenous residents in Msomera Village and reinforcing the requirement for lawful land acquisition and fair compensation.
Pastoralism supports sustainable livelihoods, works with nature to mitigate climate threats, and protects ecosystems. We remain committed to keeping the environment safe, productive, and usable for future generations.
In harmony with nature, pastoralism sustains ecosystems. With pastoralist communities worldwide, we remain committed to protecting mobility and sustaining resilient ecosystems for generations to come.
Grateful for every step taken together this year.
From all of us at PINGO’s Forum, may the season bring rest, hope, and shared purpose as we move forward together.
