Year 4 enjoyed making electrical circuits this afternoon. Some of us needed to use problem solving skills when their bulb would not light up 💡 #StPetersScience
17 of our children had their art exhibited at the Grace Schools Art Exhibition in Ely on Friday. It was such a wonderful occasion and we were so proud of our children for having their work exhibited along side other talented artists across the trust. @PKCKST
🎨 Last term, Year 6 explored the Impressionists—artists who painted quickly outdoors to capture light and colour as it changed! 🌞🖌️
✨ Fun fact: Claude Monet painted the same haystacks many times to show how light changes!
Reception and Year 4 had a fantastic visit to Rockingham Castle, with Reception learning about castle features and and Y4 learning about its role in the Civil War. Both classes impressed guides with their knowledge and curiosity! @PKCKST#RockinghamCastle#OutdoorLearning
What a wonderful day Year 6 had had at Bletchley Park. They were able to experience what live would’ve been like for the codebreakers in WWII #STPetersHistory

Year 4 have been busy working on a group presentation explaining the water cycle 🌧️ ☀️ They enjoyed telling other classes what they’ve learnt #StPetersScience
Year 2 became scientists today! They explored materials under the microscope, discovering how objects look completely different when magnified. #StPetersScience
Year 5 /6 enjoyed dissecting peonies as part of their science learning on reproduction in flowering plants. After carefully dissecting the flowers, they looked at the different parts and labelled them. @PKCKST
