The damage inflicted on the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra in Russia’s latest attack on Kyiv is another escalation in the destruction. This @UNESCO World Heritage site is one of Ukraine’s treasures and is a part of Europe’s shared cultural heritage.
The Council of Europe continues its work on accountability for the damage caused by Russia’s aggression.

Dziś w Strasburgu podczas Komitetu Ministrów Rady Europy przedstawiłem stanowisko polskiego rządu ws. wykonywania orzeczeń ETPC.
⚖️ W 2027 wygaśnie kadencja ostatniego „dublera” w Trybunale Konstytucyjnym, co przybliży nas do rozwiązania tego problemu.
⚖️ Udało się wybrać zgodną z Konstytucją i EKPC sędziowską część składu Krajowej Rady Sądownictwa.
⚖️ Zakończyliśmy praktykę postępowań dyscyplinarnych uderzających w niezawisłość sędziowską.
Rząd RP będzie z całą stanowczością i w ramach wszystkich dostępnych środków realizował wyroki i decyzje ETPC. Również tę o dopuszczeniu 4 nowych sędziów TK do orzekania.

In connection with the statement of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation calling on foreign citizens, including diplomatic staff, to immediately leave Kyiv due to plans to carry out strikes on military targets and decision-making centres, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland declares that it continues to regard all attacks on Ukraine, including those against civilian facilities and populations, as acts of unjustified aggression resulting in enormous human losses and infrastructural damage.
