Happy 50th @wpdhfm! 📻 Remembering the late Stew Schantz who programmed the station during the 1980s. Stew’s legacy remains forever engraved on the radio dial. PDH is still here today because of Stew. 📻

Without Joe Negri I would not have studied jazz music performance as a college student. Pittsburgh lost a true jazz legend. RIP

2026: it’s been 25 years since we released “Rhythm of Life”. Anybody remember that? They say it was the first “alternative dance-pop” record, which changed the sound of alternative. But that’s been there before. Squeeze “Cool For Cats” actually led the way.

Yes he played that iconic sax line on @RollingStones’ “Waiting On A Friend”. RIP
It is with deep sorrow and profound love that we announce the passing of Sonny Rollins. The Saxophone Colossus died this afternoon at his home in Woodstock, NY at the age of 95. 1/2 conta.cc/4wFIDrM

Yes I know people that actually met Andy Warhol. In fact he went to my college. Today was the day that this pop art icon passed. Warhol conceived and designed many album covers including The Rolling Stones’ “Sticky Fingers”

How Scaters got its name: Adam listened to “You Make My Dreams” by Hall & Oates “…full stock of thoughts and dreams that scatter…”🎶🎵 We thought it was catchy. The late Paul wanted to pun spell it like The Beatles did. So we dropped one ‘T’. It stuck and we adopted it.

Yes you can still hear me on air occasionally. Happy World Radio Day! 📻

They deserve to be inducted into the @rockhall. Still don’t understand why they are not in.
