On Wednesday, I participated in a pivotal workshop with @PROCOL_Lebanon, that delved into the intricate relationship between #research and #policymaking. It primarily highlighted the paramount significance of #data-driven decision-making in our nation's governance. The discussion delved into: 1️⃣ The significance of research in shaping effective policies. 2️⃣ The diverse approaches to policy design, advancement, and implementation in #Lebanon. 3️⃣ The possibilities and challenges for ushering in policy change in our dynamic landscape. It is clear that collaborative effort is required to bridge the gap between research and policy implementation in Lebanon, as evidence-based policies can be the catalyst for positive change.
