We’ve been so quiet on here because we’ve been so busy recruiting! Since restarting after lockdown, we’ve consented 70 participants - taking our total to 303! Well done to all research teams @SouthamptonPCPS@LivUni @UCLPsychiatry
After an amazing year and a half working at @UCLPsychiatry and @PROMDEP_RCT, I can now officially call myself a Trainee Clinical Psychologist! Bring on the next 3 years 🤗
Are you looking for an RA position? I've worked on PROMDEP for the last 1.5 years - it's a really interesting study, has a supportive team and has great professional development opportunities ☺ apply here!

We are delighted that we’ve consented our first participant to our trial (thanks @emiliatrapasso!) since re-opening to recruitment. Thanks to all CRNs and practices who have been so accommodating to adapt to our new remote strategies. #primarycare#research#mentalhealth
We hope all our followers are safe and well! We are excited to let you know that recruitment will be starting again very soon! A huge thanks to all GP practices so far that have agreed to ‘unpause’ and continue their involvement @UoS_PrimaryCare@LivUni @UCLPsychiatry
What a great meeting we had today, I actually think it was the first time we saw each other ‘face-to-face’. Brilliant to have such supportive colleagues 😀 #primarycare#depression#mentalhealth#research
In line with @NIHRresearch guidance we are pausing recruitment of participants and practices to our trial. Our teams will continue to follow-up participants consented to the trial using remote measures as per our protocol. We hope all our followers stay well and safe!
There’s still time to apply for a research fellow position on our trial in Southampton. Come and work with a fantastic team on the PROMDEP study! Application deadline is 29th Jan @UoS_PCPS #primarycare#mentalhealth#depression#research
Thanks @GunnJane very important work. Justifies our @PROMDEP_RCT on assessing initial symptoms and @REDUCE_RCT on helping people come off long-term antidepressants
