If you've passed through Stokes Croft recently you may have caught sight of this amazing mural painted by @GNDRising at @PRStokesCroft.
GNDR fights for climate justice and campaigned tirelessly with me this summer. As you can see, I had fun helping out with painting last week! 🖌️

Since October 7, only 1 international journalist has been able to enter Gaza to independently cover the war. 123 Palestinian journalists, in addition to three Lebanese and two Israeli, have been killed. 43 journalists remain detained by Israel.

Turbo Island is set to be sold at auction on 16 October.
The owners have rejected our request to delay the auction and give us time to plan and raise funds for a community purchase.

There was an initial public meeting to organisa a community bid to buy Turbo Island here last night.
We've written up a report form it if you're interested on our blog: prsc.org.uk/save-turbo-islan…
This will need a genuine community effort, but we're pretty optimistic it will work!

Have the public enjoyed Turbo Island unchallenged by the landowner for 20 years or more, and is their evidence of this?
Sound like it could be declared a public right of way, and thus impossible for any owner current or future, to cut off access to.
