This letter does not define me. But the thought of receiving it one day did inspire me to become the man I am. I am grateful not for the external validation but rather the internal affirmation of the power of my own manifestation and the support of my community. #Blacklawtwitter

OFFICIAL: The Bulls will retire Derrick Rose's number during the 2025-26 NBA season. No other player will ever wear the number 1 for the Chicago Bulls. Number 1 will always be from Chicago.

Today, Senate Republicans blocked passage of my #CROWNAct. Time and time again, they have demonstrated their opposition to civil rights, and this is no exception. (1/4)

Stephen A. Smith might be right. Maybe it's wrong to judge Jerry Jones for something that happened 65 years ago. Maybe he was just "curious." How could anyone know? A thread.
I’m very fond of Jerry Jones and he doesn’t deserve what just happened to him!

Ahem.
Public service announcement: When someone has a hyphenated last name, say like Hannah-Jones, don't shorten the name to one of those names, say Jones. The hyphen exists for a reason, and it does not make one of the names it connects optional.

Wait till she hears that if a losing team doesn’t leave the winning team and the rest of the park community holds them accountable and play wont resume until they leave or (if need be) are forcibly removed! And if they raise too much hell no one plays with them ever again *gasp*

🧵The conversations we are having with our family, friends, and loved ones are heavy. Please have grace with each other. Hold space for folks' raw reactions. We are not going to agree on solutions and how to move forward.

Those that do not have the capacities right now, need to be extended grace, and must have grace for themselves.
