Police 45 spent the early evening assisting crews in @PSNIBelfastW tackling the ongoing scrambler issues within the district.
Our crew captured some images of a beautiful evening across Belfast and into North Down.
It’s been a while since our last post on X, but this seemed worthy of a mention.
Police 45 took advantage of the good weather today to slot in some mountain flying training in the Mournes after completing a task…quite the view!
Yesterday our crew were heading out to do some training between call outs and got to see the impressive Antonov aircraft taking off.
The crew is up to date with their training and ready for whatever the weekend had in store!

This year, the Air Support Unit produced a calendar with some of the pictures they took throughout 2025 in support of @CancerFundChild, raising £1114.82 for this excellent charity. On New Years Day we had some of the charity up for a tour and to hand over the cheque.

Today we assisted @NIFRSOFFICIAL in assessing the current situation with the fires in the Mournes. Bear in mind this isn’t even all of the devastation the fires have caused.

Police46 has been busy today assisting @NIFRSOFFICIAL to get an overview of the current wildfire situation. Earlier today the helicopter attended the Mournes to lift members of the fire service, and this evening we assisted fire service at Ballygawley. @PSNIMidUlster
Three men have been sentenced at Belfast Crown Court today, following a report of a stolen car driving along the Westlink in 2022.
Coordinated police efforts ensured a dangerous situation ended safely.

Today our observers and pilot were squeezing in valuable dropping of articles training between operational tasks, practising skills we hope we never have to use. Stay safe.
