1. As a profession, we need to better define what 'challenging' learning is.
2. We should ensure all pupils are challenged, all pupils think hard and all pupils are subject to our unapologetically high expectations (that are specific to the individual child).

I meet lots of middle/senior leaders: common characteristics of those that really move T&L forward are:
a) they urge people on, they bring energy; they’re demanding
b) they do it in a way that motivates, inspires, fosters trust and respect
c) they really know their T&L stuff!
