What information should we be collecting from clinical trials to better inform drug development in this space? That’s the question our PH community explored to close out the Symposium. Looking at how the right data can help us understand whether new treatments are working, who they may help most, and how they could shape future PH therapies. #PVRISymposium

Our final scientific session looked beyond the TGF-β/BMP pathway to other genetically validated pathways. We had talks on: ▪️ Targeting ZIP12 ▪️ Sox17 A strong close to the scientific programme, looking at how today’s genetic discoveries could help shape tomorrow’s PH therapies. #PVRISymposium

Our Therapeutic agents targeting TGF-b/BMP pathway session continued. Speakers explored different ways this pathway could be targeted, including: ▪️ Sotatercept - what can we learn from the biological response ▪️Inhibiting BMP9 ▪️LTP001 study ▪️Alk1:BMPRII agonism via bispecific clustering antibody for the treatment of HHT & PАН ▪️Modulating TGF-beta signalling for pulmonary hypertension and HНТ A focused look at a fast-moving area of therapeutic development. #PVRISymposium
