Sample clearance is one of the most overlooked parts of the business. Ppl hear a sample & think it’s as simple as getting permission. In reality one uncleared sample can fuck up a release date or cost millions lol. Sampling is months of negotiations, rapport building it’s not just paperwork & signing shit over that shit can take months sometimes years lol. This woman has spent many years bridging the gap between creativity & ownership. If you’re an artist, producer, manager or just a music fan in general this is honestly such a great read. 📌
