A cleaning company in Waltham Abbey has been fined £1,000 after commercial waste was dumped on a public highway.
This is the 2nd £1000 fixed penalty notice, 1st for commercial waste, since the fine increases were introduced in April.

Clough took 2 for 45 dismissing the great cricketing pair of Geoff Boycott and, er, Clement Freud. With the bat he scored 13. Always an oddment of Denby on the dinner table and kitchen when a kid.
This is awful. The last ever Denby Pottery going to the kiln. Why is there not uproar? Where’s the government in this?? We all have Denby in our homes, in family heirlooms, as our history and now it’s closing through lack of support, such a sad sad day. #SaveDenby @denbypottery
