#wildflowerID this appears to be mistletoe with red berries. Found today growing out of oak bark in a quiet corner of a Somerset churchyard. Could it be Californian mistletoe, Phoradendron californicum? I haven’t seen that there are UK records for that.

Thanks to our volunteer Derek for capturing this scene, and of course for helping our partners @nationaltrust to clear this mess up. We’ll be running litter squads to help us cope. If you’d like to volunteer, please send us a DM or email: volunteers@lakedistrict.gov.uk.

DC’s resignation/sacking followed by sincere contrition would have enabled the PM to regain enough authority to steer us through the deadly Covid crisis. But now I seriously think the PM has to go. At this critical time he’s chosen loyalty to the elite over service to Britain.
