My first highlighted game of Day 1 at the
@RiseCircuit Session II Live Period turned into an absolute war between
@RedlineHoops and Indiana Jammers. This one had everything you want in a Live Period battle with physical play, big shots, momentum swings, players diving on the floor, bodies banging in the paint, and nonstop intensity from the opening tip until the final buzzer. Neither squad blinked all game long and every possession felt like it carried serious weight.
Things were locked up 15-15 after the opening quarter as both defenses came out setting the tone early. Nothing came easy because every bucket had to be earned and every inch of space was contested. The offenses had to grind for rhythm since both teams were bringing serious pressure defensively and making life difficult on every touch.
Indiana Jammers slowly started finding answers in the second quarter behind strong interior play and timely shot making. They battled their way to a 32-28 halftime lead, but even then this one still felt completely up for grabs because Redline continued answering every run with one of their own.
The third quarter only raised the intensity even higher as Redline came out with fire, toughness, and confidence, slowly swinging momentum back their way possession by possession. Big shots started falling, the energy picked up, and suddenly the entire atmosphere changed as Redline grabbed a hard fought 45-44 lead heading into the fourth quarter. At that point it felt like either team could steal it.
But down the stretch Indiana Jammers showed poise when it mattered most, making tough shots through contact, knocking down clutch free throws, and executing winning basketball late to slowly create separation before closing the door on a gritty Redline squad for the 67-54 victory.
The Jammers were led by #31 who flat out imposed his will with 20 points, 9 rebounds, and a block. He brought a powerful mix of size, touch, toughness, and determination that kept Redline battling uphill all game long because every time the Jammers needed a bucket or momentum play, he seemed to deliver it.
Teammate #11
@RyanLynch_34 matched that production with 20 points of his own and was absolutely lethal operating in the midrange, where his nasty step back became nearly impossible to contest once he got to his spots. He played with tremendous control and confidence while piling up bucket after bucket throughout the game.
Redline never backed down as
@cwhite1134 kept firing and finished with 17 points and 3 rebounds while raining in 4 triples that helped keep Redline within striking distance throughout the battle. #10 Chase Brown added 13 points, 4 rebounds, and 3 assists while bringing toughness and steady production on both ends.
@PageGetter chipped in 10 points with 3 triples of his own along with 2 assists and 2 steals, continuing to make winning plays and bringing energy despite the loss.
This was one of those games that reminded everybody exactly what Live Period basketball is all about with high intensity, toughness, competitive fire, and players leaving everything on the floor trying to prove they belong.
