Dear Bungie,
I started making Destiny Fanart around 10 years ago. I was 21 back then. Now Iβm 31 and still drawing. I owe that completely to you! Destiny shaped me into the artist I am today, and Iβm so grateful for that! My goal is to follow my passion and keep getting better. This game has given me so many friends and great nights together with them doing Raids and Dungeons.
Letβs be honest: We wouldn't be Guardians if we gave up, right? I truly believe that Destiny isn't over. Because how could it ever be over when it is our...destiny?
I put a lot of thought into this artwork. Itβs a conceptual piece in an Art Deco style, designed to work like a fat playing card. On the top left you can see the Guardians who were corrupted by the Darkness (on the right), thatβs why there are shadows on their wall. Flipped upside down, you can see the Traveler showing Xivu Arath, the Witness, and a symbol I created for the Winnower. I feel like the Hive and the Witness weren't actually evil in the beginning, which is why they are connected to the Traveler. In the center, there is a colorful Ghost. It completes the whole picture and represents the community that defines Destiny. In the center, we all come together.
Per audacia ad astra.
